Raising the Next Generation in Faith
Our youth are not just the future of the church—they are the present. The habits, disciplines, and truths we instill in them today will shape their walk with God for years to come.
-
Teaching prayer helps them build a personal relationship with the Lord.
-
Guiding them in Scripture roots them in truth that will anchor them through life’s storms.
-
Modeling worship and service shows them that faith is not just belief, but action.
-
Encouraging community reminds them that they are part of a family of believers, not walking alone.
-
When we pass down spiritual disciplines, we are not just teaching practices—we are planting seeds of eternal life. The testimony of God’s faithfulness must echo from generation to generation, so that even children yet unborn will rise up to declare His wonders.
Let us be intentional. Let us be faithful. Let us ensure that the praises of the Lord never fade, but grow stronger with each new voice that joins the chorus.
"We will not hide them from their children but will declare to the next generation the praises of the LORD and His might and the wonders He has performed. For He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which He commanded our fathers to teach to their children, that the coming generation would know them—even children yet to be born—to arise and tell their own children." (Psalm 78:4–6)
