Speaking Life Into Dark Spaces**
If all we ever talk about is what’s broken, corrupt, and failing in this world, we unintentionally become part of the darkness.
Yes, there’s pain. Yes, there’s injustice. Yes, there are nights that feel way too long.
But there is also *good*. There is still kindness in strangers. There is still laughter that heals. There is still hope that refuses to die.
Words create worlds.
When we only rehearse the bad, we rob people of the courage to look for the good. We steal the oxygen of hope from rooms that are already gasping.
So I choose to speak life.
Into hospital rooms.
Into failing marriages.
Into weary parents.
Into teenagers who feel invisible.
Into my own doubts at 2am.
Not because I’m ignoring the dark — but because I believe light is stronger.
**Darkness doesn’t disappear when we curse it. It retreats when we light a candle.**
Today, find one dark space and speak life into it.
Tell someone they matter.
Remind yourself that this chapter isn’t the whole story.
Point to the good that’s still here, even if it’s small.
Hope isn’t naive. It’s defiant.
And the world has enough critics. It needs more carriers of light.
What dark space can you speak life into today?
