PEACE BE STILL

You Can Speak to the Storms in Your Life

ree

“Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, ‘Peace, be still!’ And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” — Mark 4:39

When Storms Rise

Life doesn’t always whisper—it roars.

Storms come in many forms:

•             Anxiety that crashes like waves.

•             Grief that howls through the night.

•             Doubt that darkens the horizon.

The disciples feared the storm.

But Jesus slept in the boat—unshaken.

Speak to the Storm

Jesus didn’t just calm the sea.

He showed us how to speak with authority.

“Peace, be still!”

Not a suggestion. A command.

You, too, can speak to the chaos:

•             To fear: Be still.

•             To shame: Be silent.

•             To confusion: Be calm.

Your voice, aligned with heaven, carries power.

Symbolic Imagery

Imagine this scene:

A figure stands on a stormy shoreline, arms raised—not in fear, but in faith.

Behind them, waves crash and winds swirl, yet a golden light breaks through the clouds.

Above, a dove hovers mid-flight.

The words “Peace, Be Still” ripple across the sky like a divine echo.

This is not just a moment—it’s a mirror.

 The Calm Within

Peace isn’t the absence of storms.

It’s the presence of Christ in the boat.

You are not alone.

You are not powerless.

You are not forgotten.

You are a storm-speaker.

A peace-bringer.

A child of divine authority.

What Storm Did You Speak To?

We invite you to share your story.

What storm did you face?

What words did you speak?

How did peace come?

Your voice may calm someone else’s storm.
